About this IDV
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) to Click's Wildland Fire Management, LLC, a for-profit limited liability company, to provide comprehensive wildland fire management services across multiple regions on a total small business set-aside basis. The $250,000 IDC, effective June 2023 through June 2028, enables the Forest Service to issue firm fixed-price delivery orders for heavy equipment rental, prescribed burning, fuel reduction, initial attack, and other wildfire prevention, preparedness, and response capabilities. Click's Wildland Fire Management also holds a separate $250,000 IDC awarded in June 2020 to support wildfire response efforts in the Rocky Mountain Region through June 2023. To date, these IDC vehicles have generated over $750,000 in regionally-tailored delivery orders, allowing Click's Wildland Fire Management to provide critical, on-demand fire management services to the Forest Service across several geographic areas.
The original USDA Forest Service solicitation, issued through the Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) system, sought heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and tractor plows for use during local, regional, and nationwide fire suppression and all-hazard incidents across Regions 1, 2, 4, and 9. The total small business set-aside contract aims to competitively award multiple Indefinite Delivery Blanket Purchase Agreements to vendors capable of delivering specialized equipment and comprehensive wildland fire management support tailored to the Forest Service's dynamic operational needs and geographical coverage requirements.
