The Department of Agriculture Forest Service has awarded a $30 million multiple-award indefinite delivery contract to Lohman Helicopter, LLC, a self-certified small disadvantaged business, for Type 3 Helicopter Support Services from 2023 to 2032. This contract vehicle allows the Forest Service's National Interagency Fire Center to rapidly acquire aerial firefighting, natural resource management, and infrastructure maintenance capabilities through fixed-price task orders. Lohman Helicopter will provide helicopters, pilots, and related equipment and services to support wildland fire suppression, monitoring, prescribed fire, short-haul, and other resource management missions across public lands in the western U.S. and Alaska. The task orders awarded to date, ranging from $18,997 to $1.4 million, do not use any set-asides and are primarily for operations out of Lewiston, Idaho and Redding, California through 2027-2028. This contract complements Lohman Helicopter's other indefinite delivery vehicles with the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management for a wider range of helicopter services.
