The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Johnson Space Center awarded a $474,988,000 Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) titled "NASA Open Innovation Services 3" (NOIS3) to Luminary Labs LLC, a woman-owned small business. The NOIS3 GWAC enables NASA and other government agencies to access crowdsourcing services and products to support NASA's Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation. The NOIS3 GWAC will allow the government to issue task orders for a range of crowd-based solutions, including challenges, prize competitions, freelance projects, micro-tasks, and other innovative methods. Luminary Labs LLC, the prime contractor, is an experienced provider of these services, having managed similar vehicles for federal agencies like the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Education. The NOIS3 GWAC has a period of performance through May 2027, with an initial award date of June 2025.
