The International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), a non-profit think tank, has been awarded a $700,000 Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract by the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide its proprietary online databases and analytical services to federal agencies through October 2026.
Under this MAS contract, IISS has received two delivery orders from the Department of Defense (DOD) totaling over $93,000 to provide subscriptions to its Military Capabilities Assessment Database and Military Balance-Plus database. These databases contain global military capabilities, defense economics data, and strategic analysis related to military forces. IISS has also received federal grants from the Department of State to support its security-focused conferences and programs. As a prime contractor on the GSA MAS contract, IISS is able to offer its core database and analytical products across the federal customer base.
