Arup Laboratories Inc., doing business as Associated Regional And University Pathologists, is a not-for-profit clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory that provides specialized diagnostic, pathology, and laboratory testing services to the U.S. federal government through various contract and grant awards. The company's primary federal contract vehicle is a $311 million Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for Medical Laboratory Testing and Analysis Services (FSS-621-II), which has a performance period through March 2025.
Under this FSS contract, Arup Laboratories has received numerous delivery orders and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) from VA Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) across the country to deliver a wide range of laboratory services supporting healthcare programs for veterans. These contracted services cover diverse testing needs, including esoteric testing, clinical pathology, and specialized diagnostic services, to be performed at various VA medical facilities. Arup Laboratories also holds multi-million dollar BPAs with VISN 21 ($360 million) and VISN 19 ($5.7 million) that further streamline the procurement of its comprehensive laboratory offerings. In addition to its VA work, Arup Laboratories has provided biomarker analysis services to the Department of Defense's Research, Development and Engineering Command and received a $15 million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to support federal healthcare programs.
