The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Albuquerque District awarded a multiple-award blanket purchase agreement to provide geotechnical services. The BPA has a potential value of $5 million over five years and a period of performance through September 2028.
Services include geotechnical investigations, geophysical investigations, environmental investigations and sampling, and laboratory testing in accordance with applicable standards. Work will primarily be performed within the Albuquerque District's area of responsibility, which encompasses Southern Colorado, New Mexico, and West Texas. The original sources sought notice indicated the agency requires qualified sources to conduct activities such as auger drilling, cone penetration testing, rock coring, various geophysical methods, soils and materials testing, and environmental analysis.
The purpose of this BPA and associated task orders is to provide a range of geotechnical support services for the Albuquerque District's civil works program on an as-needed basis. Establishing these indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts in advance allows the agency to complete projects more efficiently by engaging pre-qualified contractors when specialized testing is required.
