The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded a blanket purchase agreement to Delta Fuel Company, L.L.C. to procure bulk fuel and lubricants in support of its operations. The Corps issued a sources sought notice seeking multiple small businesses to enter into blanket purchase agreements for purchases valued up to $250,000 per order on a competitive basis. Delta Fuel was awarded an IDV with a potential value of $1.5 million to fulfill requirements through task order calls against the BPA.
Under the BPA and subsequent task orders, Delta Fuel has provided various fuel types including diesel, gasoline, hydraulic fluids, and engine oils to power vehicles and equipment supporting the Corps' civil works mission at locations such as pumping plants, water resource projects and district offices. Performance has occurred in multiple states and involved set asides for total and partial small businesses. Delivery of bulk fuel, lubricants and associated products valued from $2,337.50 to $91,194.20 have taken place from 2020 through the present timeframe as issued on a firm fixed price basis to ensure the Corps' infrastructure operations and emergency response activities are supported.
