About this IDV
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Procurement Operations awarded a Firm Fixed Price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Paragon Systems, Inc., a subsidiary of the Swedish security services company Securitas AB, to provide armed emergency security services throughout Northern Florida in support of Hurricane Michael relief efforts. The potential value of the award is $3,951,046.48. Paragon Systems, Inc. is an experienced federal contractor, having been awarded numerous multi-million dollar contracts by DHS and other agencies to provide protective security officer and armed guard services at federal facilities across the country. This BPA call does not have a set-aside designation and will be performed in Inlet Beach, Florida through March 22, 2019.
Additionally, Paragon Systems holds several other indefinite delivery contracts and blanket purchase agreements with DHS and other federal agencies, including a $30 million contract with DHS Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a 5-year IDIQ to provide armed protective security officers in Los Angeles County worth over $80 million, and a BPA with DHS Customs and Border Protection to furnish armed guards along the Southwest border, resulting in a $66 million task order. These vehicles have collectively resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in task orders for Paragon's range of security solutions, which include armed and unarmed guard services, security systems integration, risk consulting and investigations.
