The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded a series of Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contracts to Strategic Security Corp (SSC), a nationwide provider of integrated security solutions, to deliver Level II armed guard security services in support of FEMA's disaster preparation and recovery operations in the state of Kentucky. These BPA contracts, which do not utilize any set-aside designations, have a cumulative potential value exceeding $9 million and provide FEMA with the ability to rapidly order armed guard services through individual task orders.

The scope of work under these BPA contracts requires SSC to provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, and transportation to perform Level II armed guard security services at FEMA Joint Field Offices, staging areas, responder lodges, and Disaster Recovery Centers established in response to disasters and emergencies in Kentucky. The periods of performance for the individual BPA call orders range from April 2024 to July 2024. As an experienced FEMA contractor, SSC has held similar BPA contracts in other states totaling over $30 million, in addition to a $3.3 billion IDIQ contract with the Transportation Security Administration for airport screening services.
