The Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awarded to Yukon Fire Protection Services, Inc. by the General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service Region 9 and the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) provides operations, maintenance, and fire protection services at federal facilities including the San Ysidro and Tecate Land Ports of Entry in Southern California. The $23.6 million single-award BPA, issued under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) program, has an ultimate completion date of August 31, 2025. Yukon, an Alaskan Native Corporation-owned small disadvantaged business, will deliver a wide range of services including facility maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and sewage pump repairs, as well as fire alarm monitoring and testing. The BPA also includes task orders valued up to $300,000 for specific repairs, renovations, and infrastructure improvements at the border stations.
The contract supports the CBP's mission to secure the nation's borders by ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of critical land port facilities. Yukon's extensive experience providing fire protection products and services to various federal agencies through multiple award vehicles such as Blanket Purchase Agreements and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts makes them well-suited to fulfill the operational, maintenance, and repair requirements at the San Ysidro and Tecate border crossings.
