The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has awarded a single-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Lpit Solutions, Inc., a for-profit Subchapter S corporation, to provide its TrackCore suite of radio frequency identification (RFID)-enabled medical inventory tracking and management products and services. The $19 million BPA, awarded through VHA's Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 1, enables multiple VISNs (1, 2, 4, and 5) to efficiently procure Lpit Solutions' specialized logistics and inventory management offerings to support VA healthcare operations and improve patient safety.
Under this BPA, Lpit Solutions will deliver RFID-enabled storage equipment, tissue tracking software, and related services to modernize inventory controls for surgical implants and tissue samples within VA medical centers. The contract includes annual licensing, maintenance, hosting, and support for the TrackCore systems. While the BPA does not have a set-aside designation, Lpit Solutions is an experienced federal contractor that has received previous VA awards, some of which were set aside for small businesses. The work will be performed at Lpit Solutions' facilities in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
