Goodrich Corporation, operating through its Hoist and Winch Division, has been awarded a single-award Basic Ordering Agreement by the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation to supply specialized hoisting equipment, aircraft components, and related products. The BOA has a potential value of $9,999,999 and orders may be placed through November 2028.
Under the BOA, the Department of Homeland Security United States Coast Guard has issued three delivery orders to Goodrich Corporation for the purchase of components to support its fleet of MH-60T medium-range recovery helicopters. The orders include bearings valued at $52,200, tube assemblies valued at $1,088, and hoist body grips valued at $12,912. Performance on the orders issued to date will occur at Goodrich's facility in Anaheim, California through May 2024. No set aside designations were applied to the BOA or delivery orders.
The MH-60T is a vital asset utilized by the Coast Guard for missions such as search and rescue, law enforcement, and ports security. The ordered components will support continued maintenance and operation of the helicopters. Goodrich leverages its expertise as a manufacturer of hoisting, cargo handling and aircraft equipment under the BOA to meet the needs of the Coast Guard and other Department of Defense customers.
