The Department of the Air Force awarded Seed Innovations, LLC a Basic Ordering Agreement with a potential value of $30 million to provide software development, security, and operations services. Ten delivery orders were subsequently awarded against this IDV and other contract vehicles totaling over $300 million. Delivery orders include DevSecOps pipeline support services to the Air Force Materiel Command for $39 million; ADVANA Edge support services to the Office of the Secretary of Defense for $67.8 million; and multiple orders to the Air Education and Training Command for developmental systems operations and program management between $5-20 million each. Services are to be performed across multiple locations including Colorado, Texas, and Washington D.C. through 2028.
The orders awarded utilize various contract types including firm-fixed-price and time-and-materials arrangements. Several were set aside for total small businesses. Based on descriptions, Seed Innovations is tasked with developing and maintaining various IT platforms and solutions to support Air Force training, education, and data analytics missions. This includes growing initial AI DevSecOps capabilities into a full-scale enterprise system. Seed Innovations serves as prime contractor, with some orders noting no major subcontractor involvement.
