The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will create and launch an online version of its past exhibition "Night Train to Nashville: Music City Rhythm & Blues 1945-1970" under a $199,710 project grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities' Promotion of the Humanities Public Programs (CFDA 45.164) program. Museum staff funded by the award will conduct research, writing, design, testing, and promotion to develop the new online exhibition focusing on black musicians' contributions to Nashville's music scene from 1945 to 1970. The online exhibition is intended to sustain the museum's mission of engaging diverse audiences through free, digital content and allowing the stories of these pioneering musicians to reach broader global audiences. The grant period runs from December 1, 2021 through March 31, 2023. No subawards are associated with this project grant.
