Adaptive Adventures received a $748,759.24 Project Grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration under the VA Grants for Adaptive Sports Programs for Disabled Veterans and Disabled Members of the Armed Forces program (CFDA 64.034). The grant funds comprehensive equine-assisted therapeutic services, including direct instruction and participation in equine-based activities, program evaluation, and related therapeutic services intended to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being for the veteran population served. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Westminster, Colorado, Adaptive Adventures has demonstrated sustained capability in delivering adaptive sports programming, serving over 700 disabled veterans and service members annually. This award represents part of the organization's broader Adaptive Adventures Military Operations program portfolio, which has received approximately $4.3 million in total VA funding since 2021 across multiple adaptive sports initiatives.
