About this award

Written by GovTribe AI ·

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Entrepreneurial Development awarded a $150,000 Project Grant to the Center for Women & Enterprise, Inc. (CWE) under the Women's Business Ownership Assistance program (CFDA 59.043). This funding will enable CWE's Central Massachusetts division to provide entrepreneurial training, counseling, and other support services to assist women-owned small businesses. CWE has delivered these services for over 25 years, with the goal of removing discriminatory barriers women entrepreneurs face in accessing capital, markets, management, and other critical resources for business growth. The SBA has provided multiple grants to CWE totaling over $1.3M since 2020 to support women's entrepreneurship, including assistance for those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
