About this award
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded a $150,000 Project Grant to the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center, Inc. (NIIC), a non-profit business incubator in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This grant is funded through the SBA's Women's Business Ownership Assistance program (CFDA 59.043), which provides training, counseling, and technical assistance to help small businesses owned and controlled by women, with a focus on socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.
The purpose of this award is for NIIC to deliver a range of entrepreneurship development services, including one-on-one business consulting, group training, and other support programs specifically tailored for women-owned small businesses in the region. This funding will enable NIIC to continue its mission of promoting economic growth and removing discriminatory barriers that women entrepreneurs face in accessing capital, markets, and other critical resources.
