About this award
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded a $150,000 Project Grant under the Women's Business Ownership Assistance Program (CFDA 59.043) to the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization registered as a minority-owned, woman-owned, and Hispanic American-owned business. The grant, effective September 30, 2023 through September 29, 2024, will enable the Chamber to provide training, counseling, education, and advisory services to support small businesses, particularly those owned by women and minorities, in the El Paso, Texas region. This funding supports the Chamber's efforts to remove discriminatory barriers faced by women entrepreneurs in accessing capital, markets, and other critical resources for business growth.
