The Roosevelt Union Free School District, a local government entity and school district, received a $525,000 Project Grant award from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Elementary and Secondary Education under the Innovative Approaches to Literacy; Promise Neighborhoods; Full-Service Community Schools; and Congressionally Directed Spending for Elementary and Secondary Education Community Projects (CFDA 84.215) program. The grant funds will be used to provide after-school literacy and academic support services to students in the Roosevelt, NY school district from September 2024 through June 2026.
