Impact aid program, title VII, section 7003

The Department of Education Office of Elementary and Secondary Education awarded $128,464 to Tishomingo Public School on October 1, 2025, under the Impact Aid Program, Title VII, Section 7003 (CFDA 84.041). The award runs through September 30, 2031, and performance occurs in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Section 7003 of Impact Aid provides financial assistance to school districts where at least three percent or 400 of the total number of eligible federally connected children in average daily attendance live on Federal property including Indian lands and/or have a parent who works on Federal property or is on active duty in the uniformed services. The program replaces lost local revenue that would otherwise be available to local educational agencies to pay for the education of these children, whose families' Federal connection exempts their property from local property taxes that fund most school districts.

Tishomingo Public School serves the Tishomingo School District I020 and operates as Tishomingo High School. The district uses Impact Aid funding to support comprehensive educational services including general instruction, special education, English language learning, and technology integration.
