This $1,044,896 Project Grant award from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (CFDA 93.837 Cardiovascular Diseases Research) aims to develop an integrated digital platform called "FBT 2.0" that will increase access to evidence-based family-based behavioral treatment (FBT) for childhood obesity. The platform will include: (a) self-paced digital programs for children and caregivers; (b) e-training and support for interventionists; and (c) family engagement and monitoring tools. Through usability testing and a 6-month pilot trial, the project will gather evidence on the efficacy of the digital FBT 2.0 platform and prepare it for commercialization. This work builds upon the 3C Institute's prior development of a digital training platform for FBT, leveraging the organization's expertise in creating engaging e-learning products to scale up this childhood obesity intervention.
