UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, THE RECIPIENT SHALL INSTALL A 54-INCH DIAMETER MAGNETIC METER IN THE DISCHARGE PIPING AT THE 7-1 PUMPING PLANT TO CAPTURE WATER PUMPED FROM THE MENDOTA POOL. THE 54-INCH MAGNETIC METER WILL BE HOUSED IN A NEW CONCRETE VAULT BELOW GROUND SURFACE. THE METER WILL BE INSTALLED IN BETWEEN THE 7-1 PUMPS AND ALL DOWNSTREAM CONNECTIONS ENSURING ALL WATER PUMPED IS ACCURATELY METERED. THE CONCRETE VAULT WILL BE CONSTRUCTED IN A MANNER THAT EXPOSES THREE EXISTING DIVISION, SUBLINE, AND ISOLATION VALVES FOR BETTER ACCESS AND MAINTENANCE. THE 7L-9.0N SUBLINE WILL BE RECONFIGURED TO ELIMINATE THE EXISTING PIPE THAT CROSSES THE PROPOSED LOCATION OF THE NEW METER. THE EXISTING BURIED PIPELINE THAT IS EXPOSED INSIDE THE NEW VAULT WILL BE SUPPORTED AND COATED TO PREVENT SETTLEMENT AND CORROSION RESPECTIVELY. THE NEW MAGNETIC METER WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE EXISTING MOTOR CONTROL CABINETS FOR THE 7-1 PUMPS AND WILL TRANSMIT METER DATA THROUGH THE DISTRICTS EXISTING SCADA SYSTEM. MAJOR PROJECT COMPONENTS ARE ANTICIPATED TO INCLUDE: EARTHWORK TRENCHING, SHORING CONCRETE VAULT CONSTRUCTION RELOCATION OF THE 7L-9.0N SUBLINE CONNECTION METER INSTALLATIONS ELECTRICAL - INSTALLATION OF (2) INCH CONDUITS TO TRANSMIT METER DATA AND 120VAC POWER SOURCE FROM THE NEW CONCRETE VAULT TO THE EXISTING MOTOR CONTROL CABINETS (MCC). INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING OF THE NEW CHARTLESS RECORDER RECEIVING DATA FROM THE 54-INCH MAGNETIC METER. THE 54-INCH DIAMETER MAGNETIC METER INSTALLATION WILL TAKE PLACE APPROXIMATELY FIVE MILES WEST OF TRANQUILLITY, CALIFORNIA.
