THE TRIBAL MONITORING PROGRAMPROVIDES VALUABLE INFORMATION ON THE HEALTH OF THESE CANYONS AND ENSURES THEIR PROTECTION FORFUTURE GENERATIONS. THE INPUT OF TRIBES DURING MEETINGS PROVIDES UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES BASED ONLONG AFFILIATION WITH THE CANYONS AND LEADS TO BETTER OUTCOMES PREDICATED ON TRIBAL-CENTRIC VALUES.I.PARTICIPATION.THE SCOPE OF WORK BELOW DESCRIBES THE ACTIVITIES THAT SHALL BE CARRIED OUT BY THE PUEBLO OF ZUNI AS AN ACTIVE AND ENGAGED STAKEHOLDER IN THE GLEN CANYON DAM ADAPTIVE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM. THE ACTIVITIES ARE DIVIDED INTO PARTICIPATION IN MEETINGS, PREPARATION FOR MEETINGS DOCUMENTS REVIEW, AND THE GENERATION OF WRITTEN COMMENTS WHEN NECESSARY. MILESTONE DELIVERABLES: ON AN ANNUAL BASIS, A REPORT DETAILING ZUNI ACTIVITIES ON EACH RIVER TRIP INCLUDING PROGRESS MADE TOWARD ACHIEVING THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE MONITORING PROGRAM WILL BE GENERATED. III.CULTURAL SENSITIVITY TRAINING.THIS PROJECT, IS TO MEANINGFULLY INCORPORATE ZUNI TRADITIONAL KNOWLEDGE EXPERTISE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CULTURAL SENSITIVITY TRAINING FOCUSED AT GCDAMP FUNDED RESEARCHERS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ALL GCMRC PERSONNEL AND OTHER GCDAMP STAKEHOLDER REPRESENTATIVES. MILESTONE DELIVERABLES: CONDUCT TWO MEETINGS WITH THE ZUNI CULTURAL RESOURCE ADVISORY TEAM AND ZUNI TRIBAL COUNCIL TO IDENTIFY HOW ZUNI WANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CULTURAL SENSITIVITY TRAINING. IV.MISCELLANEOUS PROJECTS SUPPORTING THE PA AND HPP THE PUEBLO OF ZUNI SHALL ACCOMPLISH THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL TASKS OVER THE COURSE OF THE AGREEMENT THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE TRIENNIAL WORK PLAN.
