Description

Abstract
The NYC neuromodulation conference is a premier global forum for the technology and science of brain interfaces, bridging the critical GAP between engineering innovation and clinical application. The conference has run biennially since 2013 and has grown consistently. The 2026 NYC neuromodulation planning is an ongoing project with 900+ projected delegates and >85 already confirmed national and international speakers. NYC neuromodulation is fully academic-volunteer run and non-profit - with all resources going to attendee experience and content dissemination. Grants provide critical support to sustain the meeting quality. The scope of NYC neuromodulation includes all forms of energy-based neuromodulation and BCI, spanning a wide range of neurological, psychiatric, and other disorders. The dynamic meeting program prioritizes recognition of recent breakthroughs and emerging investigators. The conference stands-out for a culture that encourages scientific community, formation of collaborations, and respectful debate. Safety and accessibility are ensured at both the facility and programmatic levels. The conference supports the unique opportunities of in-person conference while expanding remote asynchronous availability of content. The conference includes multiple programs for highschool/college students, patient advocacy, and hands-on training. This R13 will provide support for some of the a/V requirements of the meeting, spanning two main stages, and 8 lecture/workshop rooms, streaming/recording, and assistive technology services.
