SIX OBJECTIVES WERE IDENTIFIED TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL: 1) ESTABLISH RELIABLE SPAWNING TECHNIQUES TO MAXIMIZE GAMETE PRODUCTION AND QUALITY, AND FERTILIZATION RATES. 2) OPTIMIZE PLANKTONIC LARVAL CULTURE TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE LARVAE QUALITY. 3) COMPARE PLANKTONIC LARVAL SETTLEMENT INDUCTION TECHNIQUES TO ENHANCE LARVAL SETTLEMENT AND METAMORPHOSIS. 4) OPTIMIZE NURSERY PHASE CULTURE TECHNIQUES FOR NEWLY SETTLED JUVENILES TO PROMOTE HIGH QUALITY WSCS FOR GROW-OUT. 5) DEVELOP JUVENILE GROW-OUT TECHNIQUES. 6) DOCUMENT AND DISSEMINATE ALL RESULTS AND FINDINGS TO BENEFIT STAKEHOLDERS, EDUCATORS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
