Description

As the agency reported it.

The virus has had devastating economic and social impacts on an already economically unequal country. Alianza DE fundaciones comunitarias (comunalia) is developing a challenge grant program to enhance community foundations' capacity to support grassroots initiatives in mexico. The grants enable foundations to quickly respond in creative ways to the economic or social challenges in their own communities during the pandemic in the aftermath of the crisis. Additional grant activities include training, technical assistance, peer-to-peer networking, and communications and dissemination to share the results and impact of the program to help comunalia members develop their grassroots grantmaking programs to better respond to covid-19 and future crises.
