THE YERBA BUENA CENTER FOR THE ARTS (YBCA) WILL LAUNCH ITS YBCA CO-OP MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM, A RECENTLY PILOTED MEMBERSHIP FRAMEWORK THAT CENTERS ARTISTS AND COMMUNITIES AS INTRINSIC TO AUDIENCE BUILDING, ONGOING ENGAGEMENT, AND ONSITE PROGRAMMING. THE MUSEUM WILL CONVENE REGULARLY WITH FOCUS GROUPS TO COLLECT FEEDBACK TO STRENGTHEN THE PROGRAM BY ENSURING IT DIRECTLY SERVES THE NEEDS OF ARTISTS, AS WELL AS EXPAND OUTREACH TO A GREATER NUMBER OF ARTISTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS FROM ACROSS THE BAY AREA. PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO ONGOING USE OF THE MUSEUM'S REHEARSAL, STUDIO, AND MEETING SPACES, GENERATING INCREASED COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT THROUGH ART PROTOTYPING FESTIVALS, CONVENINGS, EXHIBITIONS, PERFORMANCES, LECTURES, AND SCREENINGS.
