THE BARNES FOUNDATION SEEKS TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO THE ALBERT C. BARNES CORRESPONDENCE DOCUMENTS. SPANNING ALMOST 50 YEARS (1902-1951), THE CORRESPONDENCE CONTAINS DIALOGUES WITH MANY HISTORICAL FIGURES AND IS A RICH, CRITICAL RESOURCE WITH RELEVANCE FOR A BROAD RANGE OF HUMANISTIC DISCIPLINES. THE MUSEUM WILL ENSURE THE COLLECTION'S LONG-TERM PRESERVATION BY CREATING DIGITAL RECORDS OF THE COLLECTION AND THEN STORING THEM IN A NEW DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
