The Dupage Children's Museum will use a $710,947 Project Grant award from the Institute of Museum and Library Services' Museums for America program to create a permanent bilingual Questioneers exhibit and related programming. The 2,000 square foot exhibit will promote STEM interests among underrepresented groups and feature interactive activities and challenges based on bestselling children's books. The Museum will coordinate exhibit design and fabrication with community partners. The grant-funded exhibit and programming aim to reduce socioeconomic disparities that discourage underserved populations from pursuing STEM fields by igniting children's interest in mathematics, science, engineering, and architecture through an in-depth, iterative evaluation of the Museum's traveling Questioneers exhibit.
