JCMTD IS REQUESTING SECTION 5307 FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $581987 FROM FY2020 ($347212) AND FY2021 ($234775) TO BE APPORTIONED FOR OPERATING ASSISTANCE IN IL FY2022. LOCAL MATCHING FUNDS OF $581987 WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS DOWNSTATE OPERATING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. THE OVERALL BUDGET FOR MAINTAINING EXISTING SERVICE LEVELS IS $1163974.00. FEDERAL FUNDING IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF FINANCING FOR THESE PROJECTS.
