FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS FROM A 2017 COLLECTIONS ASSESSMENT FOR PRESERVATION REPORT, THE GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC MILITARY MUSEUM, OPERATED BY THE CITY OF AURORA, ILLINOIS, WILL OPTIMIZE AND IMPROVE COLLECTION STORAGE CONDITIONS BY STRENGTHENING BOTH INTELLECTUAL AND PHYSICAL CONTROL OVER THE COLLECTION.
