THE PROJECT WILL ENGAGE A VISITING CURATOR TO WORK WITH MUSEUM STAFF, EMERGING MUSEUM PROFESSIONALS, AND A REPUTABLE LOCAL EXHIBIT DESIGN AND FABRICATION FIRM TO DEVELOP EXPERIENTIAL EXHIBITIONS THAT PROMOTE LEARNING AND DISCOVERY. THE PROJECT WILL ADDRESS THE MUSEUM'S AGING AND STATIC EXHIBITS, WHICH HAVE NOT CHANGED SIGNIFICANTLY IN MORE THAN A DECADE, WHILE IMPROVING HOW VISITORS ENGAGE WITH SHARED LOCAL HISTORY THROUGH CURRENT MUSEUM BEST PRACTICES.
