Description

Louis. A cross-departmental team will work with a curator-in-residence to develop a suite of engagements to reach elementary, middle, and high school students, children and their guardians attending museum classes and events, and ST. Louis-based artists. The project will produce multidisciplinary programs for three exhibits including in-school residencies, field trips to the museum, art-making workshops, age-appropriate exhibition study guides, a self-guided art hunt featuring other local arts events, and touchable objects at the exhibitions supporting children's tactile learning. As a result, the programs will further the museum's strategic plan priorities to deepen equity, inclusion, and diversity across the organization and ensure the museum is accessible and relevant to the community.
