The Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration awarded Tole Mour Health, Inc. $650,000 on August 1, 2026, under the Health Center Program (CFDA 93.224). Tole Mour Health will establish and operate a community health center providing primary care services to medically underserved residents of Majuro Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The center will be staffed with a medical director, staff physician, three primary care nurse practitioners, and support staff, operating across four service delivery sites spanning the 35-mile-long principal island of Majuro from the village of Rita to the village of Laura. In Year 1, the center projects serving 2,850 clients across 9,000 encounters. The target population comprises all 27,711 residents of Majuro Atoll, with 94 percent of Marshallese Pacific Islander descent; the population is young with 22 percent under age 15. The service area currently has no existing community health center.
