M3P is a statewide initiative to identify youth and young adults at clinical high risk for psychosis and provide evidence-based stepped-care interventions to prevent or delay psychotic disorders. The program combines outreach and education, psychosis-risk screening via the PQ-B instrument, SIPS assessment, coordinated referral pathways, and trauma-informed, community-based, family-driven stepped-care services. Interventions include psychoeducation, cognitive-behavioral therapy for psychosis, acceptance and commitment therapy, family-focused treatment, substance use assessment and intervention, and academic and vocational support. Over the four-year performance period, M3P will screen 2,700 youth and provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services to 560 individuals across Massachusetts, particularly in rural areas. Seven CHR-P programs operate through integrated referral partnerships across healthcare, education, child welfare, and behavioral health systems, serving individuals up to age 25 experiencing attenuated psychotic symptoms, functional decline, and co-occurring conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Performance runs through September 29, 2030, with place of performance in Boston, Massachusetts.
