Description
Evergreen grove ? Care farming program for individuals with SUD and MH disorders - roots at evergreen grove is a program located at gaamha's 115 acre therapeutic farm campus where we use a care farming/green care modality to care for people impacted by substance misuse and mental health challenges. Roots provides both early intervention and treatment services to young people ages 12-24. By hiring an additional full-time clinician and two therapeutic farm assistants, we can reduce our waitlist and serve an additional 30 participants per week and a minimum of 60 unduplicated participants during the course of the funding cycle. The funding will allow US to hire additional clinical staff, reduce waitlists, and deliver clinical care to a vastly underserved and growing population.
