The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Business Cooperative Services awarded a $200,000 Project Grant to Casa Of Oregon under the Rural Cooperative Development Grants program (CFDA 10.771). Through this grant, Casa Of Oregon's Cooperative Development Center will provide technical assistance, training, feasibility studies, business planning, and other services to support the startup, expansion, and operational improvement of rural cooperatives and other mutually-owned businesses in Oregon. The grant funding will enable Casa Of Oregon to continue its efforts to foster economic growth, job creation, and community development in rural areas of Oregon by facilitating the establishment and growth of cooperative business models.
