The Library of America, in partnership with the National Association of Latino Arts and Cultures, will produce 400 Years of Latino Poetry, a $1,698,898 project grant awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities under the Promotion of the Humanities Public Programs federal grant program (CFDA 45.164). The initiative includes publishing a groundbreaking anthology of Latino poetry spanning 400 years; public programs and conversations with literary scholars, poets, and historians across the United States; and a permanent digital archive of teaching and learning resources on a dedicated website. The project aims to explore Latino history and culture through humanities programs, consistent with the goals of the federal grant program. All products and services will be delivered between May 1, 2023 and April 30, 2025 in New York, New York.
