Through a $620,000 Project Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program (CFDA 97.045), the Urban Drainage And Flood Control District (dba Mile High Flood District) is delivering technical products and services to enhance the effectiveness of floodplain management capabilities and flood hazard mapping activities in support of the National Flood Insurance Program. The funding, which is part of over $3 million in CTP awards the District has received from FEMA since 2019, allows it to continue serving 87 municipalities in the Denver metropolitan area on flood risk reduction, floodplain management, and flood preparedness through September 2025.
