SEVIER COUNTY IS ADDRESSING THE LOCAL AND REGIONAL NEED TO CAPITALIZE ON TRAVEL AND TOURISM OPPORTUNITIES IN MARYSVALE CANYON WITH THIS STUDY, WHICH WILL EXPLORE THE FEASIBILITY OF RESTORING TRAIN SERVICE IN THE REGION AND THE SUBSEQUENT POSITIVE IMPACTS ON LODGING, RESTAURANTS, RETAIL AND RELATED BUSINESSES FOR LONG-TERM ECONOMIC RESILIENCY.
