Description

Despite the successful high-tech manufacturing cluster, including SK hynix a leading semiconductor manufacturer located in the park, the city?S per capita income is low compared to national standards. Additional industrial expansion in the park is limited by the existing wastewater capacity, and local leaders recognize the value of expanding the park?S wastewater capacity to help generate new economic activity. The EDA-funded infrastructure will include expansion of an existing regional lift station and a larger force main. The project is expected to create 400 new jobs and generate $20 million in new private investment.
