THIS EDA INVESTMENT SUPPORTS THE VIRGINIA INNOVATION PARTNERSHIP CORPORATION WITH COLLABORATING WITH MULTIPLE AGENCIES TO IDENTIFY TRADED SECTOR INDUSTRIES THAT ARE WELL-POSITIONED FOR RAPID GROWTH IN THE POST-COVID ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT, AS WELL AS OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT ENTREPRENEURS IN INNOVATIVE INDUSTRIES AND UNDERREPRESENTED POPULATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF VIRGINIA. THIS INVESTMENT WILL ENGAGE DOZENS OF STATE, REGIONAL, AND LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS IN THE EFFORT TO SOLICIT INPUT, SYNDICATE FINDINGS, AND IDENTIFY CAPABILITY- AND/OR CAPACITY BUILDING OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT REGIONAL AND LOCAL PARTNERS IN EXECUTING THE RECOMMENDED STRATEGIES.
