About this award
The Northern New Mexico Workforce Integration Network (WIN) will provide workforce development services totaling $12.7 million through September 2025 under an Economic Adjustment Assistance Project Grant from the Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration.
WIN and its healthcare partner, Santa Fe Community College, will expand existing sector partnerships with local healthcare employers including Holy Cross Hospital, Santa Fe Recovery Center, and Presbyterian Hospital Espanola. This will involve mirroring Arizona's clinical education consortium model to streamline student pathways into on-the-job clinical training. WIN will also partner with the Regional Development Corporation and construction employers such as Arpad Builders, Northern Rio Arriba Electric Cooperative, and Bradbury Stamm Construction to deploy a mobile classroom. This will provide high-quality classroom training and apprenticeships to hard-to-reach populations in northern New Mexico's construction sector.

This sector partnership will invest in mirroring arizona's clinical education consortium system that streamlines student pathways into clinical on-the-job training. Win will also respond to the needs of the local construction sector through a partnership with the regional development corporation (a northern new mexico economic development organization) and employers including arpad builders, northern RIO arriba electric cooperative, and bradbury stamm construction. Leveraging its network of local community colleges, unions, and employers, RDC will deploy a mobile classroom to provide high-quality classroom training and apprenticeships to hard-to-reach populations.
