The Lewis and Clark Regional Development Council (LCRDC) was awarded a $284,375 project grant from the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) to support the development and implementation of a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the region it serves under the EDA's Economic Development Support for Planning Organizations grant program. Through this funding, LCRDC will create an economic development roadmap to diversify and strengthen the regional economy comprising Burleigh, Emmons, Grant, Kidder, McLean, Mercer, Morton, Oliver, Sheridan, and Sioux counties in North Dakota. The CEDS process will bring together public and private sector stakeholders to strategize regional economic growth. The grant period runs from January 1, 2022 through March 31, 2025 for LCRDC to complete the CEDS and related planning deliverables.
