A CONTINUOUS FLOW OF DIVERSE, TRADE/TECHNICIAN SKILLED WORKERS TO LLNL (PART OF THE NUCLEAR SECURITY ENTERPRISE (NSE)); AND 2. AN ENHANCEMENT OF THE INCUMBENT LLNL TECHNICIAN WORKFORCE. REAP FOCUSES ON TWO OF THE THREE MAJOR PATHWAYS TO ACHIEVE NSE MISSION PRIORITIES: CAPACITY BUILDING/PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT; AND RECRUITMENT AND MARKETING, RETENTION, AND DEVELOPMENT OF A WORLD-CLASS (AND DIVERSE) WORKFORCE. IMPLEMENT AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AT LLNL AND AT INDUSTRY PARTNERS TO MATCH TRAINED, DIVERSE, TRADE/TECHNICIAN-SKILLED WORKERS WITH ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (OJT); AND 5. SUPPORT TRANSITION OF WORKERS INTO GOOD JOB PLACEMENTS AT LLNL AND INDUSTRY PARTNERS.
