Description
Is undergoing a very exciting renovation project focused on creating a sustainable facility centered on the health and wellbeing of the patients we serve. Our current facility has served the community well but in order to continue to provide the level of care our community has come to expect, IT is necessary to make improvements to our current facility. We are proud of our recent and past history, but increasingly we are delivering 21ST century care from a campus founded 100 years ago with major infrastructure which has exceeded its life expectancy and no longer meets our needs. Our quality of care is never compromised, but operational efficiency, patient service and technical expansion are not maximized. Planning sessions were held to discuss and determine what improvements, repairs and modifications to the hospital were needed. These discussions involved multiple hospital departments coming together to focus on necessary interior and exterior building projects, culminating in a "must do" project list identifying the following: select window replacement limited exterior skin restoration select roof replacement parking lot replacement new emergency generator light interior remodeling medical gas improvements HVAC repairs and improvements plumbing work fire alarm upgrades electrical corrections code compliance items select finishes upgrades security access control improvements water and pest infiltration corrections issues critical to meet 21ST century standards of care, including hippa standards such as patient privacy, will be addressed by this renovation. Not only will these improvements allow US to continue to provide exceptional patient centered care, but we can do so without expanding our carbon footprint.
