THE PROPOSED PROJECT IS WITHIN ONE SINGLE AWARD AND WILL BE A CONSTRUCTION/MODERNIZATION PROJECT WITH ALTERATIONS, REPAIRS, REMODELING AND RENOVATIONS OF A COUNTY OWNED FACILITY INCLUDING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE EXTERNAL SITE. UPON THE COMPLETION OF THE PROPOSED WORK AS INTENDED BY THE DIRECTED SPENDING, THE RESULT WILL RENDER THE FACILITY SUITABLE TO SERVE AS THE ROCKDALE COUNTY RESTORATIVE JUSTICE COMPLEX. FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS, ROCKDALE COUNTY AND THE CITY OF CONYERS HAVE BEEN ACTIVELY PLANNING, IMPLEMENTING, AND FUNDING PHASES OF A HOLISTIC COMMUNITY COLLABORATION RESPONSE ADDRESSING MENTAL HEALTH DEMANDS. THIS HAS CULMINATED INTO THE OPENING OF (2026) OF THE ROCKDALE RESTORATIVE JUSTICE CENTER THAT WILL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: CRISIS SERVICE CENTER: VIEW POINT HEALTH THE FACILITY WILL BE AVAILABLE 365 DAYS A YEAR, 24 HOURS A DAY FOR OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRIC AND COUNSELING ASSESSMENT, SUPPORT AND REFERRAL SERVICES BY LICENSED PROFESSIONALS AND TRAINED PARAPROFESSIONAL SUPPORT STAFF FOR PERSONS IN CRISIS. THE CSC ONLY SERVES ADULTS PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL LEVEL OF CARE. THE CLINICAL STAFF CONDUCTS A RAPID DETERMINATION OF WHETHER THERE ARE SIGNIFICANT INDICATIONS OF MENTAL ILLNESS AND/OR SUBSTANCE RELATED DISORDER TO WARRANT FURTHER EVALUATION AND ADMISSION TO SERVICES. THE GOAL IS RAPID AND TIME LIMITED ASSESSMENT AND STABILIZATION (LESS THAN 8 HOURS). UPON ASSESSMENT, CLIENT IS DEEMED IMMINENT RISK OF HARM TO SELF OR OTHERS, AN EXTENDED OUTPATIENT VISIT IS APPROPRIATE FOR PROVIDING SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE OF FUNCTIONING UNTIL TRANSPORT TO A HIGHER LEVEL OF CARE. IF, UPON ASSESSMENT, THE CLIENT IS DEEMED TO REQUIRE EXTENDED SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AVAILABLE THROUGH THE CSC AND IS NOT AT IMMINENT RISK OF HARM TO SELF OR OTHERS, THE CLIENT MAY REMAIN ON SITE FOR UP TO 23 HOURS. RECOVERY COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION: GRIT & GRACE A RECOVERY COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION (RCO) IS AN INDEPENDENT, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION LED AND GOVERNED BY REPRESENTATIVES OF LOCAL COMMUNITIES OF RECOVERY THAT DOES ANY, ONE, OR COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES. THESE ACTIVITIES ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND ARE NOT RESTRICTED TO INDIVIDUALS ENROLLED IN A SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL, TREATMENT, OR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM. GRIT & GRACE ADDICTION RECOVERY SUPPORT CENTER (ARSC) IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION 501(C)(3) COMMITTED TO MAKING TRANSFORMATIONS THROUGH RECOVERY, COUNSELING, EDUCATION, PEER SUPPORT, AND PROVIDING RESOURCES TO INDIVIDUALS OF THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY SO THEY CAN BE RETURNED AS VALUABLE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY, WALKING IN THEIR PURPOSE AND DIVINE DESTINY.
