Description

Community project funding/congressionally directed spending - construction - to provide much needed repairs and upgrades for the share program, a not-for-profit inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment facility in hoffman estates. The much needed upgrades would enhance the facility by providing a safer and more aesthetically pleasing building. IT will be of tremendous value to the community we serve. What we are requesting would enhance our services and foster recovery. We have identified (4) much needed upgrades that would make a substantial difference in the program: i) the share program needs a large outdoor deck for the female wing of our treatment center 2) replace the asphalt in our parking lot 3) replace cafeteria freezer, cooler, gas convection ovens, burner range, broiler, deep FAT fryer, table, and dump station (all original equipment, over 45 years old) 4) replace ripped and worn carpeting with flooring
