THE CURRENT COMPUTERS ARE OBSOLETE AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. (5) MISSION NEIGHBORHOOD HEALTH CENTER WILL USE ITS CDS FUNDS TO ADD NEW DENTAL EQUIPMENT TO EXPAND ITS EXISTING DENTAL PROGRAM FOR UNDERSERVED AREA RESIDENTS. (6) NORTH EAST MEDICAL SERVICES WILL USE ITS CDS FUNDS TO PURCHASE A CEPHEID GENEXPERT PCR (POLYMERASE CHAIN REACTION) ANALYZER TO TEST FOR COVID-19 IN THE CLINIC'S CONSUMERS FOR THEIR CLINICAL LABORATORY IMPROVEMENT AMENDMENTS (CLIA) CERTIFIED LAB. (7) SAINT ANTHONY MEDICAL CENTER WILL USE ITS CDS FUNDS TO PURCHASE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TO (1) MEASURE AND STORE PATIENT VITAL SIGNS DIRECTLY INTO A PATIENT'S OCHIN EPIC ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD, (2) DRAGON DICTATE SOFTWARE TO ALLOW PROVIDER NOTES TO DICTATE DIRECTLY INTO A PATIENTS ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD, AND (3) A PAMI SOFTWARE PACKAGE TO RECONCILE PATIENT ALLERGIES, MEDICATIONS, AND IMMUNIZATION RECORDS INTO EACH PATIENT'S ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD TO IMPROVE PATIENT OUTCOMES THROUGH REDUCED ERRORS. (8) SAN FRANCISCO COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER WILL USE ITS CDS FUNDS TO INSTALL THE OCHIN EPIC BILLING SERVICES MODULE INTO ITS ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD SYSTEM. AS THE SAN FRANCISCO COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER IS MIGRATING ITS ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD SYSTEM FROM ECLINICALWORKS TO OCHIN EPIC, THEY RECENTLY DECIDED TO TRANSITION FROM A THIRD-PARTY BILLING COMPANY AND UTILIZE OCHIN EPIC'S BILLING SERVICES. THE COST SAVINGS REALIZED BY THE BILLING TRANSITION TO OCHIN EPIC WILL ALLOW A MORE SIGNIFICANT EXPANSION OF PATIENT CARE. (9) SOUTH OF MARKET HEALTH CENTER WILL USE ITS CDS FUNDS TO HIRE A COMPUTER ENGINEERING CONSULTING FIRM TO ASSESS THE COMPUTER AND WI-FI NETWORKS OF THE CLINIC. BASED ON THE FINDINGS OF THAT ASSESSMENT, SOUTH OF MARKET HEALTH CENTER WILL ALSO USE CDS FUNDS TO INSTALL NEW AND UPDATED HARDWARE TO INCREASE COMPUTING AND WI-FI NETWORK CAPACITY, INCLUDING TELEHEALTH SERVICES. ALL PROPOSED PROJECTS ALIGN WITH THE PURPOSE OF THE CDS FUNDING TO IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES AND HEALTH EQUITY BY INCREASING ACCESS TO HIGHER QUALITY HEALTH CARE SERVICES.
