The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) has been awarded a $1,692,475.00 Project Grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration under the Maternal and Child Health Services Block Grant to the States program (CFDA 93.994). This two-year grant, effective from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2026, will enable CDPHE to deliver a comprehensive range of maternal and child health services in Colorado, including prenatal care, pediatric health, family planning, disease prevention, nutrition assistance, substance abuse treatment, home visiting, emergency preparedness, and healthcare workforce development. As the state public health agency, CDPHE partners with local health departments, universities, community organizations, and non-profit providers to administer these critical public health programs and services for vulnerable populations across the state.
